The Arthritis Walk is on Saturday May 22nd at 9:00 a.m.

This is a friends, co-worker, family and even bring your dog event. Walk as an individual, or get into it and create your own mini teams and then join us to walk together. If you can't walk with us, you can still donate to the cause. Remember to wear your letters with pride!  Last year we had 4 furry-legged friends along for the fun and we had a blast!

Chequers Restaurant by Perimeter Mall

Chequers has a Happy Hour menu which features $4, $5, & $6 appetizers; $5.95 martinis and $5 house wine until 7 p.m.  This menu is only available in the bar/patio area, so that is where we will meet.  Can't make it before 7 p.m? No problem, you will still be able to order off the regular menu.

Kennesaw State Chapter Update – Melissa Holder

There is one open AAC position - Communications Adviser.  If you are interested (or know anyone that might be), contact Melissa Holder (illini.dawgs@netzero.net) and she will put you in touch with Andrea (Chapter Adviser).  This person ideally would have strong communications skills and PR experience.  She will oversee the VP/Communications, To Dragma reporter and Historian.  Time  commitment is approximately 3 hours per month for meetings and then weekly communication with the officers.

GA State Chapter Update – Jen Bachman

The alumnae initiation ceremony will be held following chapter on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 in the Sinclair Suite (it’s on the second floor of the Student Center). Chapter starts at 7:00 p.m. and the ceremony will start around 7:45 p.m. The best place to park would be at M Deck which is at the corner of Gilmer and Courtland.  It is $6 to park there. The Student center is across the street from this deck.
